Hatchimals Colleggtables Advent Calendar: Is It Worth It?

When I chose to officially kick off the AllThingsChristmas YouTube channel for 2019, I was pondering over the exact type of content that would capture the audience's interest. The previous year, I had a blast recording and sharing my RetroSweets Advent Calendar review with my daughter. She absolutely loves being in front of the camera and expressing her thoughts to the world (I wonder where she inherited that from?!). So I decided to utilize a few Amazon Gift Cards to purchase some toy-themed Advent Calendars for her to assist me in reviewing, and this one is our first.

If you have kids around, you're probably well-acquainted with Hatchimals. They were the must-have Christmas toy of 2016 and have remained a favorite (though thankfully easier to find in stores now). Recently, understanding that full-sized, pricey Hatchimals are less profitable than blind-bag style LOL miniatures, the company introduced Hatchimal Colleggtables, or as my daughter refers to them ‘Baby Hatchimals'. It was all she wanted for Christmas last year.

I was unaware of the Advent Calendar at the time; otherwise, I would have likely gotten it for her. Too impatient to wait another six months for the next Christmas season, I thought this would be an excellent initial option to use for our YouTube series on Advent Calendar reviews.

So, here's our assessment of the Hatchimals 2018 Colleggtables Advent Calendar (I will update this article if the Calendar undergoes changes for 2019).
